About TeamRally

I believe it's the little things that matter most at work. A genuine thank-you at the right moment. A birthday someone actually remembered. A card the whole team signed. Small acts of real appreciation do more for morale and team spirit than any number of team-building events or line items in a budget.

I've been lucky to work at some great companies, and in every one of them the people in HR were the unsung heroes. They noticed when it was someone's tenth year, sent the card round, organised the offsite, and made sure everyone felt looked after and motivated, usually on top of a full job. Often it wasn't only HR: an office manager, a team lead, whoever cared enough to do it.

What TeamRally does

• Remembers the dates. Birthdays and work anniversaries for the whole team, each with a group card the team signs, delivered on the day.
• Runs the events. Offsites and team rallies with RSVPs, plus-ones, itineraries and a follow-up survey.
• Asks the team. Quick polls for anything from the offsite venue to the Friday lunch.
• Fits where people already are. Email, Slack, Basecamp and Google Calendar.

If you only need one card, TeamRally Cards is free: a group card the whole team can sign, with no accounts and no ads.

How we run it

• Small and independent. TeamRally is built in Hamburg, Germany, by a founder who answers the email.
• Careful with your team's data. No data sold, no ads. The privacy policy says exactly what we keep and why.
• Built in the open. Ideas and bugs go on the feedback board, and the roadmap and changelog show what's next and what's shipped.
