Bring TeamRally into Basecamp.
Events, polls, and birthday & anniversary celebrations land in your project’s Campfire or Message Board — so the whole team stays in the loop without another tool to check.
Connect in Settings → Integrations · email stays the fallback
Your team’s moments, posted to Basecamp
Event & poll announcements
Publish an event or open a poll and TeamRally posts it to your Campfire or Message Board, with a one-click link out to RSVP or vote in the portal.
Surprise-safe celebration cards
Birthdays and work anniversaries are announced in the Campfire on the day, with a link to the signed group card — and the celebrant never sees it coming.
Native to your project
Messages land where your team already talks — no new inbox, no separate app. Built on the Basecamp 4 API, posting to the project you choose.
Best-effort & email-backed
Basecamp posts ride alongside TeamRally’s emails — never blocking them. If a post can’t be delivered, email still goes out, so nothing is missed.
Live in three steps
- 1Connect Basecamp. In TeamRally, open Settings → Integrations and connect your account.
- 2Pick a project & Campfire. Choose where event, poll, and celebration messages should post.
- 3Work as normal. Publish events, open polls, and let cards auto-deliver — Basecamp gets the updates, email backs them up.
On the roadmap: events & birthdays on the Basecamp Schedule, RSVP/poll to-dos, and an interactive !teamrally Campfire bot.
Common questions
What does TeamRally post to Basecamp?
When you publish an event or open a poll, TeamRally posts it to your project — to the Campfire or Message Board — with a link out to RSVP or vote in TeamRally. Celebration cards are announced in the Campfire on the day.
Can people RSVP inside Basecamp?
Basecamp doesn’t support inline buttons the way Slack does, so RSVPs, votes, and card-signing happen via a one-click link out to the TeamRally portal. The message itself lands natively in Basecamp.
Are birthday and anniversary cards surprise-safe in Basecamp?
Yes. The person being celebrated is never included in the sign-the-card prompts, and the celebration only posts on the day — the same surprise rules as everywhere else in TeamRally.
How do I connect Basecamp?
Open Settings → Integrations, connect your Basecamp account, and choose the project and Campfire/Message Board to post to. Send a test message and disconnect any time. Email is always the fallback.
