Employee Birthday & Work Anniversary Tracker (Free Spreadsheet)

Missing a work anniversary feels worse than missing a deadline — for the person being missed. This tracker keeps every birthday and anniversary in one sheet, with a “this month” view so nothing sneaks up on you.

What’s inside

  • Birthday and start-date columns with automatic “next occurrence” calculation

How to use it

  1. Make a copy and import names, birthdays, and start dates (an HRIS export works).
  2. Check the “This Month” tab at the start of each month — it’s your celebration to-do list.
  3. Log what you did in the celebration log after each one.

Tips

  • Ask people how they want to be celebrated — publicly, privately, or not at all. Respect the answer.
  • Milestone years deserve more than a Slack emoji. Plan those two weeks out.
